The pink floss flower (Ageratum houstonicum) should attract the attention of lovers of smaller plants, but abundant and tirelessly blooming. This lovely little wonder only grows to 10-20cm tall, making up for it with a vivid color and a large number of flowers. They are composed of hundreds of needle-like petals that resemble pompoms when viewed from a distance. Their deep pink color and wide shadows add to the ornamental value of this plant. Pink floss flower seeds should be sown indoors under glass or in a cold hearth in early spring. The developed plants can be transferred to soil or any type of container. Because of their rose structure and flower type, they would make an especially large impression in a large, shallow pot. This plant will bloom continuously from June until the first frosts of autumn in moist to slightly humid conditions with unlimited sun exposure.
